The Karlseder lab is looking for motivated postdoc applicants with molecular and cell biology experience, who want to work in a supportive environment at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California. The laboratory is working on many aspects of telomere metabolism and how telomeres regulate and synergize with proliferative boundaries that prevent cancer initiation as function of age. We are interested in the interplay between telomere function, innate immune signaling, inflammation and the resulting cellular consequences. Candidates should be familiar with molecular and cell biology techniques and have experience with mammalian tissue culture. We are proud of our collegial, integrative and interactive environment. Please apply to firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV and interests.
